La Ventana is a voluntary community focusing on growth and development, believing in integration with Mother Earth. Their work is based on permaculture and their goal is all about sustainability and harmonious coexistence with all, because their belief is that we are all one. This idyllic place is located in Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico.
The community offers different types of courses or activities and workshops where the main objective is to achieve a comprehensive physical and emotional sustainability. All this has been possible in recognition to many people who are aware that real change is already happening and both ancestral knowledge, as well as the current technological advances that we have present, are both needed to achieve this transition harmoniously.
This achievement is made possible by Adriana Alvarez, founder of the Project La Ventana, a 100% Natural Foundation, among other major collaborations with environmental groups.
The mission of La Ventana it to be a demonstration center for sustainable living located in Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico, it is to create the awareness necessary to walk in harmony with the world. They demonstrate this through permaculture, as well as various other activities like internal ecology and forestry.
In turn, they also devote their efforts to work in the community with the various ethnic groups in Chiapas, as the indigenous culture is essential to improve our condition as human beings connected with each other and with their roots. They are looking for people with interest in permaculture, as their goal is to create more window demonstration centers in Mexico.
It is located northwest of Chiapas right in the heart of a forest of tropical climate.
